Introduction to C++ for VRC : This can be taken as a refresher course. Students begin working in C++, learn basic syntax, spacing and formatting, comments, embedded data types, conditional statements and how these relate to the robot. C++ is a textual language that has formed the base for some of the more common languages today such as java and is a great foundation for programmers. Then we move on to various loops and, finally, to functions, passing variables by value. By the end of this class students will know how to organize their code in industry standard formats paving their way to solve complex algorithms. Basic autonomous and drive control will be featured.
